ADVISING MY DAD ABOUT FAKE NEWS

My dad bought my first computer when I was about 10 years old, and through the years I've been learning everything all by myself. My father, however, has never had much interest in learning how to turn on a computer or use the internet until recently, when he bought his first smartphone to use whatsapp!

He quickly became addicted to whatsapp. And it has been like this in recent months: he is always looking at the smartphone screen and sharing everything he receives without thinking if the information is false.

I've been trying to teach him how to behave on the internet and giving advices about  not to share fake news. But it’s hard! Hopefully, he will learn with time.

  1. Fake news in Brazil was the subjective of this year. It's great that you are helping your father with this.

  2. Kkkkkkk I believe that he will be able to identify the fake news in the future but it takes time. Keep teaching him.

  3. Really "fake news" has become a cancer in today's society. We must be careful about the messages we receive and we always have to check the source.
