Hey
guys, today I want to talk about something (not so) silly that i’ve been seeing
in the last years…
Well,
I see a lot of people mentioning about how great “somebody’s” life is being,
and sometimes (most of it, actually) it comes with the sequence: I saw his trip
to “some fancy city/country” or “did you saw her new car?”.
Moreover,
those same people keep talking about their friends posts frequently and say
that they wish to have a life just like this “somebody” has. It seems that a
social network full of nice photos became the new concept for success.
The
thing is: I see how unhealthy this kind of thought has been to our society. People
just get depressed because they can’t have what this other person have, or
worst, make crazy things as spend money that they don’t even have just to
achieve the same status of another “profile”.
So,
if you let this kind of thought be part of your routine, you probably will get
“sick” just as they are, it’s a one-way ticket, I assure you guys.
“Don't
let people's social media posts rush you to make decisions about your life.
Remember no one posts their failures.” - Takudzwa Razemba.
In the social media everything it's perfect, we can't believe that.
ReplyDeleteThis post is so important, our society today live of appearence, people need to realize that is not what they or the others post that matters. And more important yet is to see that social media is a portrait of a live that nobody´s have!
ReplyDeleteTherefore I don't have social media. I prefer to spend my time with things that are really important.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this is a very serious issue these days. People are getting depressed.
ReplyDeleteI've been clicking on "mute posts" in the profile of some friends recently.
