Hey guys, let me talk to you about something I learned a little late but still really helpful to me until this days: to make the bed as the first thing every morning.
I
think that this was the hardest habit I’ve created to me until now. But you are
probably thinking right now: why make
this so religiously?
It’s
simple, if I don’t do it, my entire day is not the same. And when I do it,
things works far better the rest of the day.
Well,
actually I’ve never made the bed in my entire childhood (yep, my mom never
cared about things like this) so I never was capable to see how benefic this
habit is.
But
one day my Supply Chain Management’s teacher from college told me about his
habit and explained to me why he take it so seriously…
He
said: this is the best way to start your day rightly, if you let your bed messy,
you just gave yourself permission to let any other task behind too. This habit develop
an organization sense in people whom do it daily, because your brain starts to automatically
create a schedule as the activity becomes part of a routine. It’s a simple task
but a very powerful brain training at the same time.
So
guys, this is it. I challenge you to do this for 21 consecutive days, you will
see how simple habits can make the rest of our day much more productive.
But remember, don’t worth just stretch the
sheet, you have to do it right: fold the blanket, dust the pillow and whatever
it takes to make a really tidy bed! haha
I agree with you! It's been my habit a long time and I've seen a movie for six months that an American Navy marshal has the same thought ... it's great! A little thought that can make our day start better.
ReplyDeleteReally ?? Tha's explain everything, I've never made my bed.... I have to do this.
ReplyDeleteI've always had this routine since I was a kid.
